HOMEMADE CHOCOLATES – 3 TYPES

What’s better than making your own version of chocolates and eating it too! Well, we have three ideas to make awesome chocolates at home. It is made with just a few ingredients like couverture chocolate, almonds and dates. Do give it a try and we are sure you will love them. Without any further ado lets go make these yummy bites of heaven.

Ingredients

Almond clusters

  • 75 g almonds
  • 125 g milk chocolate

Chocolate coated date and nut

  • 10 dates
  • 10 roasted almonds
  • 100 g dark chocolate, melted

Almond butter cups

  • 15 tsp almond butter
  • 150 g dark chocolate, melted

Directions

Almond clusters

1.Roast the almond until nice and crisp.

2. Melt the chocolate using double boiler method or in the microwave.

3. Add the almonds to the melted chocolate and mix well.

4. Randomly scoop the chocolate almond mixture on a baking sheet and refrigerate until set.

5. Enjoy these crispy almond clusters.

Chocolate coated date and nut

1.Slit the date on one side with a knife.

2. Remove the seed and place one roasted almond inside the date.

3. Dip the almond filled date in the melted chocolate and place it on a butter paper.

4. Refrigerate until well set.

5. Super delicious date and nut chocolate is ready.

Almond butter cups

1.Take a scoop of almond butter in a tsp and place it on a baking sheet. Similarly do it 15 times. Place it in the freezer until hard. This will make it easier to work with later.

2. Take a little of the melted chocolate and spread it evenly and thinly on a paper cup or silicon mould. Repeat the same for 15 cups. Place it in the refrigerator until well set. This will prevent the almond butter from sinking to the bottom while placing it on the chocolate.

3. Take each of the almond butter scoops and place it on the paper cups respectively.

4. Pour more chocolate on the almond butter so as to cover it.

5. Refrigerate until well set. Remove the chocolate from the paper, take a bite and enjoy the chunky almond butter cups.
